Yes, is the short answer.
And I want all of you to ponder that this morning as you sit at your desks glued to your monitor in your crinkly shirt because you didn't have enough time to iron it properly while balancing a shitty instant coffee and a piece of lukewarm toast.
And when you have finished pondering it, ponder it again tonight when you are stuck with cooking a half-arsed meal that you then have to spend 20 minutes cleaning up.
Yes, having a maid is good.

What are maids generally paid in your jurisdiction?
ReplyDeletePaying direct, normally about 2000 pesos per month. Paying through an agency about 30000 pesos. We are paying direct and decided on 3000 pesos and still believe the set-up to be a good bargain.

ReplyDeleteand I should add, for a live-in maid, no time off here is expected. We provide 2 days. Sunday morning she departs and then returns Tuesday morning.
